Frequently Asked Questions
What is a hospital token system?+
A hospital token system assigns numbered tokens to patients and manages the order in which they see the doctor. QCare makes this fully digital — tokens delivered by WhatsApp, displayed on TV, with automated alerts — eliminating paper slips and printer hardware.
Do we need a token number printer?+
No. QCare delivers tokens digitally via WhatsApp. There is no need for a token printer or kiosk. The only hardware you need is a TV stick (Amazon Fire Stick) for the waiting room display. QCare subscription starts at ₹2,499/month.
Can we use QCare for multiple departments?+
Yes. Each doctor or department gets their own token series. All queues are managed from a single receptionist dashboard and displayed on the same TV side by side.
What happens if a patient doesn't have WhatsApp?+
The patient receives their token number at registration on screen. They can track their position on the TV display in the waiting room. WhatsApp is optional — not required.
How is token numbering handled?+
Each doctor has their own token prefix (e.g., DR1-001, AKR-007). Numbers reset to 001 at midnight daily. Old tokens are preserved in history for reference.
