Frequently Asked Questions

What is a digital token display for clinics?+

A digital token display is a TV screen in the clinic waiting room showing live queue status — which token is being called, who is consulting, and who is waiting. QCare's display updates in real time and announces tokens aloud.

What TV does the display work on?+

Any TV with an HDMI port. You plug in an Amazon Fire TV Stick, install the QCare TV app from the Amazon Appstore, and enter your clinic code. No smart TV required.

Can we have multiple TV screens?+

Yes. Each TV can show all doctors, or be filtered to show only specific doctors (using stations). Clinics with multiple waiting areas can have separate screens per area.

Is internet required on the TV?+

Yes, the TV stick needs a Wi-Fi connection to receive live queue updates. Any standard clinic Wi-Fi network is sufficient.

Can we set a PIN to prevent unauthorized access to the TV?+

Yes. The admin panel lets you set a 6-digit PIN for the TV URL. Anyone who opens the TV link will be prompted for the PIN before the queue is shown.
